Description

This full sized violin for sale was made in America by Dutchman Garrett A Brink.  Brink lived and worked in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where he made instruments for local players.  This Brink Violin, which was made in 1955, happens to be quite fine.  The wood on the two piece back has a lovely flame to it, and the scroll has nice fluting.  The varnish is an attractive orange-brown.  The tone of the Brink violin is quite nice for a violin of this quality; the violin projects well and could easily be used by an aspiring soloist.

For $3200.00, this violin would be a good choice for an instrumentalist looking for an uncommon violin, for a violinist looking for an American made violin, or for an advancing soloist.
