Description
This nice German Schmidt’s Standard Stradivarius copy violin for sale was made in Saxony by E Reinhold Schmidt and Co and bears an original label stating such. This violin was made by the very respectable ER Schmidt Company circa 1890. It has a lovely orange spirit varnish and is in good condition, although it shows a few cosmetic signs of wear and age. The two piece back has good flame. This ER Schmidt Violin has a moderately bright tone and projects well. It has many ringing harmonic notes.
Priced at $3800.00, this violin would make an excellent choice for an advancing high school student who is looking for a bold sound.
