French 4/4 1890 Strad Copy Violin

This lovely old French factory violin for sale contains no identification except a false label stating that it is a 1716 Stradivarius.  In actuality, this violin is probably from the 1890’s (the truth in labeling laws were about to be enacted).  This French Strad Copy Violin has an exceptionally lovely one piece back with much flame and a tight curl.  The craftsmanship, comparable to many late 1800’s violins, is quite good, while the varnish has few signs of wear.  There are no repairs or cracks, meaning it is in excellent shape.  This nice Strad copy violin has a rather bright French sound with long ringing overtones.
