Chinese 16″ 2004 Zhang Workshop Viola

This nice, 16 inch viola for sale was made in China in 2004.  It is from the Zhang workshop, although Zhang does not appear to be an actual person.  This is an upgrade viola, as the shop had more advanced techniques at the time of its manufacture.  Both the spruce and maple wood are very nice with the maple having a good flame.  The Zhang’s tone is sweet with many overtones.  The viola is not a particularly dark sounding viola, and hence it projects very well.  This 16″ Zhang Viola is new from the factory, and in excellent condition with no manufacturing blemishes.
