Austrian 4/4 1835 Nicolaus Sawatzki Violin

This full size violin for sale was made in 1835 in Vienna, Austria.  It is a very lovely, old violin handmade by Nicolaus Sawatzki.  Little is known about Sawatzki.  The violin itself has a very attractive old brown varnish over nice wood on the front and the back.  The corners are nicely made and the neck graft is good.  The tone is quite full for an old instrument, as well as rich and sweet.  The Nicolaus Sawatzki Violin has some wear and tear on the corners, in keeping with age, but it has not had any major repairs.  For $7250.00 and advanced violinist would be very content with this violin.
