Swiss 4/4 1960 Pernambuco Violin Bow

This full size violin bow for sale is a rare and unique bow, indeed!  It was made in a factory in Switzerland around 1960, and is stamped “Swiss Made” above the frog.  There is no maker given.  The bow is very nice; it is made of a straight and strong pernambuco.  The stick is round and mounted with nickel and an ebony frog.  There are light signs of wear along the bow.  The camber of this Swiss Violin Bow is good, and the tone produced is big and full; it is as nice as any equivalently priced German bow, and quite possibly nicer.  For $450.00, this violin bow would make an excellent bow for a serious high school student.
