Description

This full-size violin for sale was factory-made in Germany to be imported by the Chicago Company, Lewis & Son.  The model, “Ton-Klar” Dancla (or “Clear-Tone” Dancla) was introduced out of respect for the famed violinist, Charles Dancla.  This particular Dancla violin is #126, number 20757.  It is a newer instrument, being made in the mid-1990’s.  It has previously had one owner, but it was well kept and has needed no repair work.  The sound, as with many German instruments, is on the brighter side, and the violin plays pretty easily.  The Dancla would be a suitable violin for an aspiring musician.
