Italian 4/4 1980 Virgilio Capellini Violin

This excellent instrument for sale was made by Virgilio Capellini.  Capellini is widely considered to be among the finest modern violin makers.  His shop was in Cremona, ITALY, and he made this particular violin in 1980.  It has been previously privately owned and is still in excellent condition; no repairs have been made to this instrument.  The violin has an attractive yellow-brown oil varnish and has a well- flamed 2 piece back.  The skill of the hand carving is excellent.  The tone of the Capellini Violin is full, rich and smooth with beautiful overtones heard on all ranges of notes.
