German 4/4 violin bow made by famed Adolf C. Schuster. The bow has a silver mounting and silver tip as well as a beautiful, octagonal pernambuco stick.
Description
This fine full size violin bow for sale was made by Adolf C. Schuster approximately 100 years ago. Adolf was the finest of a family of Schuster bowmakers, and this bow is an excellent example of the high quality of his work. The bow is excellently made with a strong and straight octagonally shaped pernambuco stick. The bow has a silver mounting with a silver tip, and the frog has a parisian eye and the Schuster stamp. There is no warping and the camber is good. This Schuster can bring extra richness out of a nasal violin and smoothness to a bright violin. It does not have a weak bow stroke. The Schuster would be an excellent bow for an advanced or professional violinist.
