German 4/4 1914 Neuner and Hornsteiner Zanoli Copy Violin

This full size violin for sale was made in the Neuner & Hornsteiner factory shop in Mittenwald, GERMANY in 1914.  It is a quite unusual N & H violin in that not only is it a Giacomo Zanoli copy, but it is a copy of his Venetian violins (Zanoli spent most of time working in Verona).  Neuner and Hornsteiner had a quite prolific shop; however, their instruments are all quite well made, and this violin is no different.  This N&H Zanoli Copy Violin has a lovely darker brown varnish, and a well carved body and scroll.  The sound of this instrument is robust without sounding too harsh or brash.  It is in excellent conditions with no history of repairs.
