German 4/4 1890 Jacobus Stainer Copy Fiddling Violin

This full size violin for sale is a Jacobus Stainer copy made in a German factory in 1890.  It has a false Stainer label inside, as well as a false Stainer stamp on the back, so the true maker remains unknown.  The violin has the looks of a typical Stainer copy; it has high arching and dark brown varnish.  The back of the violin is quite interesting as the flame of the wood is painted on with varnish.  The sound of this Stainer Violin is bright; this violin will make a great fiddling instrument.  It is in excellent condition with no significant repairs.
