French 4/4 Rolland Paris Spiccato Carbon Fiber Arpège Violin Bow

This full size violin bow for sale is quite rare; it was made by the B. Rolland Spiccato company in Paris before they began production in the United States and eventually became JonPaul Bows.  This Spiccato is the Arpège Violin Bow model; it has a round carbon fiber stick, an ebony frog, and a nickel mounting.  The camber on this bow is quite good, though it is not adjustable like some Spiccato’s.  It is stamped “Spiccato Arpège” above the frog on the left side and “B Rolland Paris” above the frog on the right.  The bow handles nicely; it draws a warm sound out of the violin.  It is new and has never been privately owned.
