French 4/4 1924 Lyon and Healy #1024 Violin

This nice violin for sale was made in a French factory in 1924 and imported to the United States by the Chicago based Lyon and Healy importers.  As it is designated #1024, it was imported as a middle grade violin of the 1020 series, the middle grade series of Lyon and Healy violins.  This particular Lyon and Healy Violin is in excellent condition; it has no repairs anywhere on the instrument and only a few scratches.  It has a classical French look; there is black piping around the scroll and the varnish looks French.  It is a nice yellowy-orange color.  The sound is good; it is full with many overtones.
