French 4/4 cello made c 1900 by the JTL company and labeled “Me- Fin”. This cello is in excellent condition and ready to play.
Description
This full size cello for sale was made by the well reputed JTL company in France c 1900. JTL made many levels of instruments and the “Me-Fin” (or “Medium- Fine”) instruments are medium student grade instruments. This particular cello has the typical French JTL look; it has a yellowy-orange varnish. It has been clearly well cared for and therefore has no significant repairs. The tone of this JTL Cello is bright and ringing with many overtones. An advancing student would enjoy this cello.
