European 7/8 violin that is a Mathias Albani copy. Violin is in excellent condition with only a few varnish knicks.
Description
This nice 7/8 violin for sale is a European shop made copy of a Matthias Albani violin. Made in 1901, this violin has a tight grain, good flame and a scroll that is an accurate copy of Albani’s scrolls. The varnish is a nice orangey-red color. This Albani Copy Violin has no repairs to it, but the varnish does have some knicks around the edge of the violin. The Albani’s sound is bright, and it projects well with many ringing overtones. It has the rich quality.
For $3000.00, the Albani violin would do well for a smaller statured player or for an advanced young player who is looking for optimum sound in a smaller instrument.
