Chinese 16″ 2002 Forest Viola

This nice factory made 16 inch viola for sale was made in China by Forest Violin and subsequently imported into the United States.  It was made in 2002.  The viola has never been privately owned and is in excellent condition, with no signs of wear or damage.  This viola has a typical Chinese sound: neither too bright nor too dark.  The tone is full.  The violin has had tension on the strings for awhile and has already begun to play-in some.  The wood used on the back has a nice flame and the yellow-brown varnish has a rich look.  This Forest viola would make a good and reliable choice for an aspiring violist.
