This Guadagnini copy full size violin for sale was made for the Arcos Brasil company in Brazil in 2010. It is the Ettore Callegari Violin, indicating that it is Arcos Brasil’s mid-level violin and is made of “E”uropean wood and constructed in “C”hina. The Ettore has a nicely flamed back and good construction all around. It has a golden-brown varnish. This violin has a sweet, medium sound, similar to many Chinese instruments. It projects reasonably well, and would play nicely in an orchestra. This violin is new from the factory and has no blemishes or flaws.
For just $2400.00, the Ettore Callegari violin would be a good violin for an advancing player.
