West German 4/4 A. Nurnberger Nickel Mounted Violin Bow

This full size violin bow for sale was made by the Nurnberger factory in West Germany sometime during the Cold War.  It is nickel mounted and stamped “A Nurnberger” above the frog as well as “W Germany” at the butt.  It has a good, lightly colored octagonal pernambuco stick.  This Nurnburger Violin Bow was previously used but has been kept in very good condition.  It has good handling – comparable to similarly priced German bows – though not as good as the original Albert Nurnberger bows.   It bows easily.
