Romanian 4/4 2004 Grottano Gliga Violin

This full size violin for sale is the Grottano model, made by the Gliga workshop.  This particular Grottano was made in 2004.  The top is made of Carpathian spruce and the back is a decent maple.  This violin has fancy pegs and a Hill-style Guarneri chinrest, giving it some nice upgrades.  The varnish is a orangy-red and is not overly shiny.  The sound of the Grottano is good, especially for the price; the violin is bright and can project well on the full range of notes.  This price of this instrument also includes a wood bow.  The Grottano has no repairs and is in perfect condition.  The Grottano violin would make an excellent selection for an aspiring violin student.
