Description
This attractive 3/4 bass for sale was made in the Mathias Thoma factory in Romania in 2006. It is a flat back Gamba style bass. This Thoma bass is an excellent buy; it is fully carved throughout, it has an attractive yellow-orange spirit varnish, and it is made of fine European wood. It has a deep sound that projects quite well. It is perhaps not quite as rich as some more expensive basses, but it is not gritty sounding either. The Thoma sounds good whether using the bow or plucking. It is in factory new condition; there are no blemishes on it. This Mathias Thoma bass would be well suited to a serious bassist.
