Italian 4/4 1981 Virgilio Capellini Violin

This exceptional violin for sale was made by Italian violinmaker Virgilio Capellini in 1981 and has been previously privately owned.  Capellini is considered one of the greatest modern violin makers.  He is based in Cremona, Italy and began working around 1950.  He is currently almost 90 years old.  This particular Capellini Violin has a lovely red-brown oil varnish and has a beautifully flamed two-piece back.  It has no history of repairs and is in perfect condition.  The tone is warm and sweet with brilliant overtones.  This violin projects well and would make an excellent solo instrument.
