Italian 4/4 1920 Roberto Pioli Violin

This truely lovely full-size violin for sale was made by the 20th century Italian violin maker Roberto Pioli.  It was handmade in 1920 in the Carvriago region where Pioli had his violin, bass, and guitar shop.  Pioli’s craftsmanship on this violin is excellent; the finely carved wood has a nice, tight curl and flame, and it has been given a lovely yellow-brown oil varnish.  Like other good Italian instruments, the violin has a full and rich sound with many overtones; it does not seem to have a weak note.  This Pioli Violin has managed to avoid needing repairs over the years and is in tip-top shape.
