German 4/4 *W. E. Dörfler** octagonal pernambuco violin bow with a silver mounted snakewood frog. Bow is barely used and looks like new.
Description
This very nice full size violin bow for sale was made by the W. E. Dörfler company in Bubenreuth, GERMANY. It is a Snakewood *W. E. Dörfler**, the two stars indicating that it is the second best quality of bow. It has an octagonal pernambuco stick and a lovely upgrade snakewood frog and silver mounting. Dörfler does not currently make a snakewood frog bow. This Snakewood Dörfler Violin Bow is from c. 2000 and has been gently used, although it looks like new condition. It has no warping or signs of wear. It is straight and strong and plays the range of bow strokes well.
Priced at $1350.00, this bow would be excellent for an advanced student violinist.
