German 4/4 1930 Lyon and Healy Silver Mounted Cello Bow

This fine full size German shop cello bow for sale was made for the Chicago based Lyon and Healy importers in approximately 1930.  It has a round permanbuco stick, an attractive leather grip, and a silver mounting; the frog is made of ebony.  Both “Lyon & Healy” and “Germany” are stamped on the stick.  This Lyon & Healy Cello Bow plays particularly nicely and has a great feel to it; the balance is very fine.  This bow has no history of warping, damages, or repairs, and is in excellent condition for an 80 year old bow.
