German 4/4 1930 Ernst Heinrich Roth** Silver Mounted Violin Bow

This attractive, full size violin bow for sale was made in Germany by the Ernst Heinrich Roth factory c 1930.  It is stamped *Ernst Heinrich Roth** on the stick, indicating that it is an upgrade to the standard silver mounted Roth bow.  It is also stamped GERMANY on the butt.  The mounting of this Roth is silver on ebony, with an attractive slide on the frog.  The stick is pernambuco and octagonal in shape.  This violin bow feels a little lighter than some German bows, but the control is good and the sound produced is rich and smooth.  This Roth Violin Bow is in very good condition; there is no warping and only a little wear in keeping with its age.
