Description
This fine full-size German violin bow for sale was made in Markneukirchen, GERMANY, by the esteemed bow maker Otto A Hoyer. It is stamped Otto A Hoyer Pariser. Hoyer made this bow in the early 1900’s, and it is in excellent condition. This Hoyer Violin Bow has a lovely silver mounting on an ebony frog; the stick is of pernambuco wood and is round. It is a heavier bow than some, but it draws sound very well and handles all bow strokes excellently. The camber and balance of this Hoyer bow are good.
Hoyer is top German bow maker, and as such, for $4000.00, his well made bow would be well suited for the advanced/professional violinist.
