Description
This full size violin for sale was made in a French factory c 1900 for England’s Beare & Sons. It is labeled “François Barzoni” of Thierry, a trade name given to many instruments from Germany and France that were destined for Beare & Sons. This Barzoni Violin has a typical yellow French varnish and typical French corners. The back is a nicely flamed two piece back. The tone of this Barzoni is bright and ringing with many overtones. The violin has no significant repairs and is in very good condition.
For $3200.00, this Barzoni violin would be an dependable instrument for a serious violin student.
