French 4/4 1910 Lyon and Healy #1022 Violin

This full size Strad copy violin for sale was made in a French factory and imported to the United States in 1910 by Lyon and Healy.  Lyon and Healy imported a number of different types of violins with a huge range in quality and price.  The 1020 series of violins were all made in factories in France, and were all medium student grade violins, making them among the most affordable French violins ever made.  This particular Lyon and Healy violin is a model #1022 that is in pristine condition without a history of repair.  The Lyon and Healy Violin has a yellowy varnish and nicely carved corners.  The sound is very big and sweet for a violin in this price range.
