Brazilian Full Size 2010 Silver D Chagas Pernambuco Viola Bow

This full size viola bow for sale was made by D. Chagas (younger brother of C Chagas) of the Arcos Brasil.  Arcos Brasil is located in Brazil and has begun making bows that are responsibly made of sustainable pernambuco wood.  Chagas made this bow new in 2010.  It has a lovely straight stick with no warping; it draws out a rich and ringing viola tone.  The Chagas is silver-mounted and has a well fitting ebony frog.  This bow is an excellent value for the price because Arcos Brasil has access to some of the finest and largest selections of pernambuco wood.  This Chagas will play wonderfully for an advanced high school violist.
