This nice 16 and 1/2 inch William Harris Lee Viola available for sale was made by the Chicago based workshop of William Harris Lee. This is a well made shop viola. It was new in 2001, labeled #140, and was privately owned and used for a very short period of time. It has nice color, varnish, and carvings. This Lee is very powerful with many lovely, deep overtones; it carries very nicely. This viola has no history of repairs based on its relative newness.
For $8000.00, this viola is available to a violist looking for a viola of power would appreciate this Lee.
