4/4 cello bow made in Germany by W. E. Dörfler***. Bow is pernambuco, silver mounted, and with an octagonal stick. Bow has been previously owned and used. Bow is in superb condition with minimal signs of wear.
Description
This lovely German full – size cello bow for sale is stamped “*W. E. Dörfler***”. W.E. Dörfler, a bow factory in Germany, notes quality level by stars after the name; thus, this bow is of the highest Dörfler quality. The bow is silver mounted, and the octagonal stick is made of pernambuco wood. This bow has been previously used; however, the stick has minimal wear and no warping. It is not particularly old, as it was made no earlier than 1985. This Dörfler Cello Bow has excellent balance and camber, and it pulls rich and full sound easily from the strings of the cello.
Priced at $1800.00, this is a very fine cello bow for the advanced cellist.
