German Full Size 2000 “R Paesold” Pernambuco/Nickel Viola Bow

This full size viola bow for sale was made by the esteemed Roderick Paesold factory in Bubenreuth, GERMANY.  The viola bow was made c 2000.  It has a nice round pernambuco stick, an ebony frog, and a nickel mounting.  The bow is stamped “R Paesold” above the frog and “GERMANY” at the butt, indicating that it is an upgrade over the “Richter” and “Paesold” lines of Paesold bows, though not as nice as the “Roderich Paesold” lines.  Because the bow is slightely older and has a fancy Parisian pearl eye on the frog, it does not correspond exactly with any current model.  This Paesold Viola Bow is in excellent condition; the stick is straight and strong.  It plays a variety of strokes well and produces and even tone across the viola.
