German 4/4 1910 W. H. Hammig, Leipzig Violin Bow

This nice, full size violin bow for sale was made c 1910 for the W.H. Hammig shop in Leipzig, GERMANY.  Bows for the Hammig shop were supplied by Albert Nurnberger or August Nurnberger-Seuss, both famous bow makers.  This violin bow was silver mounted and in excellent condition, although at one point the frog and button were crushed and had to be repaired with a non-silver frog.  The Hammig Violin Bow has fine camber and the bow moves easily across the strings, drawing out a sweet sound as it moves.  The bow is a lighter weight violin bow and has easy handling.
