European 3/4 1960 A. M. Gees Bass Bow – German Style

This 3/4 bass bow for sale is quite unusual! It was made somewhere in Europe c 1960 and was labeled A.M. Gees. It is unclear who Gees is. This bass bow, however, is quite nice. It has a very strong round brazilwood stick. The A.M. Gees Bass Bow has a fully lined, half mounted ebony German style frog. The bow is used and has some knicks from previous handling, but is handles nicely and produces a lovely, deep sound. This bow is one of the nicest brazilwood bows available.

At $400.00, this A. M. Gees bow would be well suited to an advancing bassist.
