Brazilian 4/4 2012 J Fornaciari Silver Water Violet Violin Bow

This fine full size violin bow was handmade by Jackson Fornaciari of the Water Violet Bows company in Brazil.  Founded in 1994, Water Violet has the distinct advantage of being located in Brazil where Fornaciari and other craftsman have access to some of the finest pernambuco wood (a cut of brazilwood) on earth.  Because of this, Water Violet is able to offer very nice bows at a cheaper price.  This bow is stamped “J Fornaciari” above the frog.  It is silver-mounted with an ebony frog and round pernambuco stick.  The bow has good balance and camber; the handling is very good.  This J Fornaciari Violin Bow was made in 2012 and is in perfect condition.
