Description

This fine violin bow was made in 2000 for the Metropolitan Music Co, as indicated by the stamp “Emile Dupree”, the trade name of this company.  This bow was made either in Germany or France, although it appears to be of German shop origins.  It is a good bow with a silver mounting and well – fitted ebony frog.  The stick on this bow is round and of pernambuco wood.  This Dupree Violin Bow has been previously used, but it is in fine condition with no warping and minimal evidence of use.  This bow handles well and is good at a variety of stroke styles.

For $750.00, this bow would be a good option for the advancing soloist.
