Shipping & Delivery
At this time, A Plus Violins ships merchandise to locations within the United States and U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands. Additionally, A Plus Violins ships merchandise to Canada, Mexico and members of the European Union. All other international locations must contact A Plus Violins to confirm shipment. Shipment will not take place until payment has been received. Please note that we cannot ship to a P.O address.
All instruments will be shipped in a case. Beginner instruments will be shipped in a thermoplastic case. All other instruments will be shipped in a suspension-style case to be chosen at time of checkout. Basses may arrange for store pickup. All shipments in the United States will be made with the instruments' strings tuned down. All international shipments will be made with the strings, bridge and soundpost taken down and to be reset by you. The risk of loss and title for all merchandise ordered on this Website pass to you when the merchandise is delivered to the shipping carrier.
International
Customs and import duties and taxes may be applied to International orders when the shipment reaches its destination. Such charges are the responsibility of the recipient of your order and vary from country to country. Contact your local customs office for details.
Shipping laws are different in each country. It is your responsibility to check with your Customs office to verify whether the country to which you are shipping permits the shipment of your products. A Plus Violins is not responsible for any direct, indirect, punitive, or consequential damages that arise from improper international shipping practices.
Sales Tax
A Plus Violins charges sales tax for instruments ordered on this website to Illinois purchasers only. All other destinations are sold tax-free and it is your responsibility to pay any appropriate taxes.

Return Policy

We are no longer participating in trial periods for instruments. If you wish to try an instrument, you may purchase it and then return it within the allotted 10 days for a full refund.
We do accept our previously sold instruments as trade-ins on more expensive instruments provided that 1. the instrument is in the same condition that it was when we sold it and 2. the original receipt has been retained. Accepted trade-in instruments will be worth no less than 90% of the price paid at time of purchase.
